The mouth pieces were very practical for ones that are used by multiple people. Came in an assortment of colors (blue, green, pink, yellow) so was easy to distinguish who had which one. Also came individually wrapped.. more sanitary.

I dont know where the reviewer that said this was taking away from the local hydro store and that this is price gouging, its more like the other way around. Its my local hydro store that is price gouging they are charging 40.00 dollars a 1 lb bottle for this stuff and he doesn’t even offer a three pack bundle.

There’s been a reasonable amount of talk on the Internet lately when it comes to a new “miracle” product that cures a lot of of today’s biggest health problems. The product, funnily enough, is termed “magnesium oil”. But you don’t drink it, or put it on food. You rub it onto your skin. Among others things, it’s supposed to prevent heart disease, lower your blood pressure and heal migraines.

So, what’s so good regarding magnesium oil? After all, aren’t there sufficient natural supplements and vitamins in the world already?

Well, being something of a natural health nut, I decisive to take a closer look to see what it’s all about. Here’s what I found:

Studies show that 80% of all Americans are magnesium deficient. Wow, 80 percent.

It turns out that with all the talk of antioxidants, omega 3 and calcium, the media may have overlooked the real “missing link” in our diets. Evidently, the solid homogeneous inorgani substance magnesium is present in practically each cell in our bodies. Our cells depend on it for the most basic indispensable functions. When we get low, bad things occur. Dr. Lawrence Resnick, MD, of Cornell University, a leading researcher on the mineral, stated: “Without sufficient magnesium, cells merely don’t work.”

It seems that rather a big body of exploration on magnesium has been performed over the years. And the results of the studies are so compelling that it makes you wonder why we haven’t heard with regards to it earlier. Magnesium deficiency has been linked to heart disease, diabetes, migraines, diabetes, depression, fatigue, insomnia and a lot of other conditions.

Many doctors and researchers are now going beyond saying that magnesium deficiency is “linked” to these impairment of normal physiological functions and are saying that it is the actual “cause” of the disease, which is a big step upward.

Here’s a shocking quote by Dr. Mildred S Seelig, MD: “Most innovative heart disease is caused by magnesium deficiency. A tremendous and convincing body of research, largely ignored, has convinced us and numerous colleagues of this fact.” Coming from a doctor of solid reputation, that’s a finelooking strong statement.

Okay, so it’s clear that we need magnesium in our diets or bad things occur to us. No problem, we may just get it from feed and water, right? Well, that presents a surprising dilemma.

In the year 1900, magnesium was plenteous in our feed and water. But today, our drinking water is stripped of solid homogeneous inorgani substances by our filtration plants. Also, vegetables and meats are much lower in this critical solid homogeneous inorgani substance due to progressed large-scale farming techniques, which have depleted the soils.

In fact, magnesium in our feed and water is only half of what it used to be a hundred years ago. By the way, it turns out that heart impairment of normal physiological function was practically non-existent 100 years ago, when magnesium levels in feed and water was higher. Back then, there were no doctors specializing in heart disease, because closely not a single soul had the malady.

Well surely there must be a heap of foods we may still eat that are good roots of magnesium, right? The answer to this is yes, if you want to eat a mountain of pumpkins seeds and spinach EVERY DAY. But most humans merely won’t do this.

By now I’m beginning to realize that I’ll have to get my each day magnesium through supplements, since getting it in feed and water has become impractical.

And as I turn my attention to finding a good supplement, I get another surprise: All magnesium supplements taken by the mouth (orally) are only absorbed at regarding a 20% level, with the rest passing through us. Our intestines plainly don’t absorb the magnesium: powders, tablets, drinks, any of them.

To make matters worse, if you try to recompense for this low absorption by taking more prominent doses of magnesium supplements, you get diarrhea. I tried doing this and it’s true, you get diarrhea.

This is when the sheer magnitude of the problem dawned on me: 80% of us are magnesium deficient; we can’t get sufficient from our feed and water; the supplements we take don’t get absorbed; and to top it all off, closely not anyone in the media is talking regarding the dangers of magnesium deficiency – heart disease, hypertension, diabetes, etc.

Because this is so important, I re-doubled my efforts. There just had to be a supplement out there that would work. That’s when I came all over magnesium oil.

Magnesium oil seems to be dissimilar than all the other supplements out there, because it’s absorbed through the skin. You rub it onto your arms and legs like a lotion. They say it works using the same principle as the transdermal nicotine patches sold in the drug stores.

Although it’s termed “magnesium oil” it’s not in truth an oil after all. It’s a super-saturated solution of magnesium chloride in a water base. When you rub in onto the skin it feels a little slippery, but then it dries in seconds and no longer feels oily.

Evidently a doctor by the name of Norman Shealy MD, did a trial with people who are in need of medical care using the magnesium oil and found that it was highly absorbable without any side effects such as diarrhea. They used a regimen of spraying the oil on the skin in conjunction with a each and everyday footbath. The results showed that his persons who requires medical care raised their cellular magnesium levels to the top of the reference scale in a remarkable 6 weeks. Normally, with orally taken supplements, this may take 2 years or longer.

I’ve personally been using the magnesium chloride oil myself for assorted months now and my observation is that it’s the real deal. Although I consider myself healthy, it has annihilated a few nagging difficulties I had: runner’s knee and migraines. These sensations or changes are gone now. I likewise feel like I never get tired anymore. I may work as hard as I want and still not feel run down.

So in conclusion, I guess all the “buzz” with regards to magnesium oil is well founded. It appears to solve a huge problem. Magnesium deficiency is a severe health problem the world is facing right now and the sad portion is that the media has yet to catch on.

Trinidad Pepper Pods

I was pleased with the fast shipping of this product. Glad to have found a place to order this pepper. I was a little disappointed that my pepper pods were already chopped up. When I order pepper pods I feel they should arrive whole and intact. Not chopped up and the seeds all stripped out of them. First time I ever had this happen while ordering peppers. Other than that I am pleased with the opportunity to experience trying this pepper.

These are the Real deal and F’n Hot !!!!! DO NOT TOUCH THEM with bare hands , i washed my hands and then brushed my eye a couple hours and it hurt bad .. the video of our friend eating this is under Tibetan Ninja on You Tube … Oh yeah they were Split and some crushed and seeds on bottom but really its not a big deal and they came REALLY fast

Good stuff. Versatile and hot

These things are hot alright. They are easy to grind up into a power, or can be reconstituted with warm water, making it simple to add them to sauces/foods in whatever form you like. Or, you can eat them directly. Careful though, after eating one directly, the next day I noticed that hot sauces that were previously quite hot (e.g. ‘Da Bomb’) did not taste very hot anymore. Did some research and apparently (according to peer-reviewed scientific papers) capsaicin temporarily desensitizes the area of exposure from certain sensations. But don’t worry, it comes back within a matter of days (the number of days depending on the degree of exposure). Ref. “Capsaicin desensitization and recovery on the human tongue” T. Karrer and L. Thymus is a genus of over 400 species of aromatic hardy and non-hardy perennials with very small, fragrant leaves and twiggy stems. Thymes are native to Mediterranean Europe, as far as the British Isles. These terrifi herbs have long been cultivated for their neat and orderly aspect in the container, border, rock garden and arid walls. The creeping varieties are magnificent as ground covers or fill in amid pavers. Thymes grow wild on the hillsides in Greece and well-known in the ancient world. Sumerians employed it as a medicinal herb, and Egyptians applied it as an ingredient in mummification. Thyme was employed by the Greeks as a temple incense; the word thyme comes from a Greek word meaning “to fumigate”. The Greeks and Romans applied hyme for it is healing properties. It was thought to be an aphrodisiac and was enthusiastically strewn around banquet halls in the Middle Ages! Thyme was considered to be a symbol of courage, knights rode into battle with sprigs of thyme embroidered into their scarves. Shakespeare speaks of thyme in A Midsummer Night’s Dream:

“I know a bank where the wild thyme grows”, says King Overon, king of the fairies.

If grown in too rich soil, the plant have a tendancy to grow excessively and makes the plant susceptible to impairment of normal physiological function and winterkill. Keep thymes well cut back in the growing season so that they do not get too woody. Once the plant gives rise to an open center, either divide the plant or replace. If growing in a humid area, watch for fungus. They do not like “wet feet”! Thyme does grow well indoors on a sunny windowsill.

Thyme is a major culinary herb and has a terrifi aroma. You may use thyme in a multitude of dishes, either fresh or dried. Harvest the leafy tops and flower clusters.

Excellent seeds

I’ve read a lot about the difficulty of growing thyme from seed, but can’t say i’ve experienced it.
It’s been just 8 days since i planted a small bunch as a test in a seed tray, and i stopped counting at 100 new plants sprouting.
Keep the soil wet, but not soaked and give them a lot of light and you’ll be amazed.

Not so much….

Ordered a couple of packs and spread them out in our area to grow. I’d say less than 1% germination, even about 60 days later, just not there.

Maybe it’s us, maybe not. My thought was to maybe order more and germinate them in pots/greenhouse – no way. Burn me once, shame on you, burn me twice, shame on me.

I guess it’s a crap shoot if you order these.

Take your pup for a ride

I have a large, (80 pound) spoiled dog who thinks he’s a lap dog. He also thinks he needs to go everywhere I go. After I sold my Ford Explorer and bought a Jeep Wrangler, I had a hard time keeping him in the back cargo area. Fighting to keep him in the back while driving was just too dangerous, so he had to stay home. I was cautiously optimistic when I found this product on the internet. I liked the idea of a non-adhesive, non-permanent mount, but I was concerned about how it might fit on my seats, which are high buckets and do not have a headrest that raise and lowers. The price was right (compared to $60.00 net barriers), so I took a chance.

I received the barrier today. It took no more than 5 minutes to install. Very simple installation with quick release connectors. Sturdy material and straps. It flexes with the seats to accomodate varying seat positions. I will probably leave it installed most of the time, but it would take about 2 seconds to pull it up over the seats to remove it without even unhooking the straps. The straps are plenty long enough to go around a non-adjustable head rest. Our maiden voyage went very well. Puppy stood with his head looking over the top of the barrier for about a block, then he laid down. The barrier is long–down to the bottom cushion of the seat. It would not be easily climbed over or tunneled under.

Very effective. Best $6.00 I have spent in quite a while. Exactly what I needed.

It worked, sort of, for awhile

Our very determined 80 pound lab mix was happy enough to sit in the back seat of our sedan and just hang his head over the barrier to keep us company. That was fine and made for safer driving. However, one evening we left him alone in the car but within sight of us for about 2 minutes. In that time, he vaulted over the barrier and ripped the straps off of one side of the barrier.

It was a good experiment, and not too pricey, but if you are going to leave your dog alone in the car at all, unfasten the buckles to let your dog come into the front seat without destroying the barrier.

A bit more than you would expect for the price

I was looking for a barrier and there are a lot of them out there. They all looked like they would do the job so I decided to start with the cheapest one. The barrier is neither flimsy not heavy duty. Smaller dogs and particularly persistent dogs can find a way under the barrier. If you have a four door car (which I don’t) the straps could probably be tightened up to keep them from crawling under. Its short enough that really big dogs can try to climb over (including an 80 pound Great Dane puppy). I don’t think they could make it over but it causes a big enough commotion that driving wouldn’t be safe.

Not bad overall. I paid about $13 with shipping but it is worth about $15.

Best ball for dogs ever.

My Olde English Bulldogge has destroyed a small fortune in soccer balls. I was looking for something durable enough to hold up to her bite, but soft enough to be able to bounce like a soccer ball. This ball is perfect, and well worth the price. She has already punctured this ball several times, but it magically reinflates. From what I can tell, this 8″ ball is the largest available. It is slightly smaller than a standard size soccer ball. Perfect size for larger dogs.

My Dog’s Favorite Ball

My yard is a wasteland of carcasses from the soccer balls my GSD loves but can’t help destroying within the first few massive bites. I don’t know what kind of voodoo engineering makes the JollyBall possible, but these balls don’t deflate even after being punctured over and over again by great big pointy teeth. The big dog carries the ball around chomping and chomping on it, enjoying the death whistle it makes with each bite, and sometimes actually gets the ball stuck on one of his canine teeth, but as soon as it’s off, whoosh, it re-inflates. Fantastic and much loved dog toy that’s survived months of near daily attack. And when it was new, it smelled like fruity candy!

VERY Entertaining

When my dog was younger (he’s a GSD), I got him an Indestructaball which is the same as the Jolly Push and Play, which he loved, but since it’s hard plastic and they feel the need to put an indented area where you can fill it with sand or water, he would corner the ball and hook his bottom k9 into that hole, and pick it up and carry it, eventually breaking his tooth. So, I wanted to find a large ball that he could kick around, wasn’t hard, and that he couldn’t pop. This ball is PERFECT!!! It’s soft, so that when he corners it to pick it up it doesn’t damage his teeth, but It’s large enough for him to kick it around, and, like the Jolly Balls with the handles, they just can’t pop it It’s soooo much fun to watch him play with this and I can rest assured that his teeth will be OK. Just wish it came in like a 10 or 12″ ball, that would be even more entertaining…
